We've had plenty of farm animal fun around here for the past couple weeks. Some of our favorite activities have been:
completing farm animal patterns
and creating our own
cutting
coloring
drawing and writing
with the Big Red Barn
and keeping track of all our hard work on a sticker chart
My favorite part of this unit was when David created an elaborate farm in the living room and happily played with it for most of the morning. He incorporated trains, trucks, diggers, farm animals, little people, (and of course Baa Baa) into the farm scene, and was completely focused for such a long period of time. I was amazed.
