Book Review: God Gave Us the World by Lisa Tawn Bergren

God Gave Us the World follows a conversation between Little Cub and her Mother as they explore a Bears Around the World museum exhibit.  Little Cub learns that a very creative God made the world and everything in it, including a variety of bears and places to live.

More than a bit on the didactic side, this book is not so much a story as it is a lesson.  On a positive note, the illustrations are adorable, and for parents aiming to start a discussion about God's creativity, differences among bears (or people), or care for the earth, God Gave Us the World could be a good starting place.

Disclosure:  I received this book free from the WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group's Blogging for Books program. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
